About Us

 History

LIPIEMCO, was conceptualized and organized in 2000 with 27 original incorporators who were employees of then Lexmark International Philippines, Inc. As an employees’ cooperative, the original members put in a starting shared capital of less than P500K.

It registered in 2001 with the Cooperative Development Authority. And as of end of that year, it very quickly achieved close to P3.0M in members shared capital.

Membership base significantly grew as more and more employees signed up and joined.

In 2011, LIPIEMCO transformed itself into an open-member type cooperative opening its doors wider to accommodate even more members.

Over the years, LIPIEMCO has been recognized and awarded for its performance and growth.

As of June 2018, it has a strong membership base of more than 3,000 and continues to grow. Business operations have expanded outside of the Metro Cebu area, reaching as far as Santo Tomas in Batangas — making its products and services available to member companies located at the First Philippine Industrial Park in the CALABARZON (Cavite-Laguna-Batangas-Rizal-Quezon) area.

LIPIEMCO’s success is a testament to the dedication and engagement of all its members who have remained loyal patrons and active advocates of its vision and mission.
